Mike McFarland

mike mcfarlandA native Arizonan, Mike, considered  the Huckleberry Finn of the Valley of the Sun , has seen and experienced almost all lakes, rivers, ponds, and bodies of water that Arizona has to offer.  Over the years Mike has developed an incredible amount of skills and secrets as well as many special locations for trophy catches.   Mike is a very unique and energetic guide who absolutely loves to teach and share his fishing experience with others.  His clients not only catch fish but have boated trophy fish for each species available.  Mike teaches beginners through pro levels for all species here in Arizona.  Mike is very involved with the local fishing circuits, teaching youth anglers, and is currently coaching and sponsoring members of the Phoenix Jr. Bass Club.   Several of his students have become state champions and in 2009 two of his students fished in the National Guard World Championship in Pennsylvania.  He is currently fishing the FLW Series.

 

Paul Matthews

paul matthewsPaul has been fishing since he was four years old and has fished for most species of fish.  He has been a tournament fisherman in Arizona and California for the last eight years with many top 5 and top 10 finishes.  Paul enjoys guiding and loves the challenge of helping people catch fish.  Paul’s patience and willingness to improve novices in their ability to catch fish is his highest priority.
Paul has helped clients just learning to fish catch Largemouth Bass over 8 lbs on Lake Pleasant, showing that anything is possible and anyone can catch trophy quality fish.   Paul’s hunting and fishing experience has helped him in providing an enjoyable experience for his clients.  Paul supplies the best equipment and makes sure your fishing experience is one that you will never forget.

 

Creston Carroll

creston crandellBorn and raised in Mesa, Creston has spent all his life in the pursuit of bass.  He has hundreds of days on the water in Arizona developing knowledge of the states diverse lakes and streams.  In his experiences he has learned the challenging aspects of fishing on Arizona’s unique waterways.  At the age of sixteen, while in high school, he began fishing local tournaments.  Creston joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves as  young adult and after his active duty training he moved to Heber, a small town in north eastern Arizona to raise his family.  He now spends almost every weekend fishing tournaments and has racked-up some impressive stats.  As his love of the sport has grown beyond measure, there is nothing more important to him than share that love with others.  When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him in his garage making custom tackle or in the woods with bow and arrow in hand.

 

Brad Woodburn

brad woodburnBorn and raised in a small town in Nebraska, Brad grew up fishing small lakes and ponds for Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, and Catfish.  After moving to Arizona in 1985 Brad realized that Arizona had fantastic fishing for all species. Brad has spent thousands of hours on the water, and fishes in local tournaments, were he has several wins and top 10’s. His best days on the water are when he can teach others .When he is not on the water he is in the shop helping customers and studying new baits and techniques.
